ENGLISH FOR SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES
WITH GAIL PATTEMORE SAKAI
 
I am a British/American teacher trained in English and Educational 
Drama. I have taught in the UK, Japan, South Africa and Chicago and 
Ithaca in the U.S.A. Also I am very aware of the language issues that 
Korean speakers of English face after working here with many students 
from South Korea.
 
I tutor in  private homes as well as at the School of Hotel 
Administration at Cornell University where I give language support to 
international graduate and undergraduate students. Also, I am a frequent 
volunteer teacher for the Cornell Campus Club ESL classes.
 
My teaching style is flexible to focus on the individual needs of my 
students.
Here are the classes I offer to adults at any language level:

---Confidence in Conversation group classes: (3-6 people who decide to 
work together)
 
I am always excited to welcome and work with new students. I have 4/5 
spaces only left in my schedule for the fall!!
